Stylish Looks: If you intend to start with professional way of ‘cut your own hair’, then just keep on trimming a specific quantity of hair every month or two for maintaining the style. On majority of people, it so happens that hair on one side grows quicker than on other. So, if this method is chosen, you must pay a frequent visit to your stylist to get the cut leveled. If the texture of your hair is curly, make sure to cut it noticeably longer than desired length. This should be done because curls have the property of shrinking up a bit on drying. If the hair has a coarse or thick nature, let very small sections be held for trimming.

For bangs, let the first step be parting in center. Let an equal quantity of hair be taken from every side of part line and be combed forward. Then smoothen the portion between middle fingers and index and cut the hair across it.
